Service Description
We begin a session by checking in and uncovering an intention for the breathing experience and then, when ready, I guide you towards your conscious connected breath. In a typical session, you breathe lying in a comfortable position on your back, in and out through the mouth, for approximately 45 minutes before returning to your normal breathing pattern. Once the breathing process is complete, you might want to share, journal, draw, or sit in silence before completing our session together. While each breathing experience varies greatly, some common experiences during a breathwork session are: 1. Sensory Experiences like temperature changes, shaking, cramping, tightness and release, tingling. 2. Biographical Experiences. Memories from birth to the present moment. Both positive and negative. It can be a feeling or experience of something that did or did not happen. 3. Birth and Death Experiences. These might be from pregnancy or the experience of being born, either based on unconscious memories or "rebirth". 4. Magic. Breathwork helps access altered states of consciousness that can result in experiences of oneness, transcendence, out of body experiences, merging with other forms of life, trance states, astro projection, ancestral connection, and so much more. But the beauty of Therapeutic Breathwork is its subtlety. Its profound simplicity. Sometimes you're chasing a massive transformational release, but instead you spend 45 minutes breathing and frustrated. And sometimes that's just what we need.
